When would a titanium clips be used?

 1.Polypectomy: Polypectomy is mainly applied to the long pedicled (Ip,Isp type). After the long pedicled is clipped by titanium plates, it can block the nourishing blood vessels of nutritional polyps and prevent bleeding after the long pedicled or pedicled polypectomy.

2.ESD wound closure: for patients with large ESD wounds, generally do not use closed wound, and for patients with small ESD wound area and delayed risk, need to use titanium clip closure wound, the main purpose is to prevent ESD wound late bleeding and delayed perforation and other complications. The treatment under endoscope is mainly based on single layer closure with titanium clip, and good sealing effect can still be achieved, while the incision or perforation surface with large area needs to be completed with titanium clip nylon rope.
