Scope of use of Aotic Punch

Aotic Punch are commonly used in cardiac surgery or other procedures where a round hole is made in the wall of a blood vessel.

In cardiac surgery, such as the coronary artery bypass surgery, a circular opening is usually made in the wall of the ascending aorta to anastomose the bridging vessels.The traditional method is that the cardiac surgeon uses a scalpel to cut a round hole in the vascular wall, but the round hole cut by hand is extremely irregular, and in the process of operation, it is easy to remain the tissue debris of the hematopoietic wall, and the remaining tissue will inevitably cause thrombosis, threatening the patient's postoperative survival.With the development of cardiac surgery technology, this scalpel cutting and perforating method was abandoned because it was too primitive and had operative risks, and was gradually replaced by aotic punch.

The technical problem that our aotic punch solves is: aiming at the defect that the existing vascular perforator is not completely cut off, we provide the aotic punch with reasonable structure design and easy to use, which can quickly rotate a regular round hole with smooth inner wall on the vascular wall, and can remove the excised tissue.
